Meet Coach Stephanie

When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.

Welcome to FitFaith Life!

My faith journey began in a small country church where my family worshiped for generations and has since brought me to one of the largest churches in New York City. Along the way, I’ve learned countless lessons, but the most important is this: FAITH shapes how we approach every aspect of life. Each decision we make reflects the faith we hold—that it will work for our good.

When I became a mother to two wonderful children, I gained 50 pounds during each pregnancy. It was my faith that gave me the courage to step out, take control of my health, and transform my life. Over the course of eight months, I committed to a new journey, shedding 50 pounds through consistent diet and exercise. That experience became the foundation of my fitness journey.

I’m proud to hold a B.S. in Secondary Education from West Chester University, an M.S. in School Administration from Lincoln University, an M.S. in Nutrition Education from American University, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Policy and Leadership. With over 20 years of experience as an educator, I discovered a passion for health and fitness during my personal transformation. It felt natural to share that passion with others.

At FitFaith Life, I take a holistic approach to wellness. I believe true wholeness comes from nurturing both the inner and physical self. As a wife, mother, educator, and fitness enthusiast, I know what it’s like to pour into others every day. That’s why FitFaith Life focuses on restoring balance—living a life that honors God by caring for our bodies through healthy food choices, daily movement, and spiritual growth.

I am an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, and I am here to encourage, guide, and inspire you on your wellness journey.
